Bardic Codex
The Bardic Codex is the bard's talent book. Buy it from Selwyn the Archivist (1,500 gold) and double-click it to spend points. Tempo, auras and the Virtuoso multiplier are explained on Spellsongs.
Points
- Codex XP comes from monster kills: Fame ÷ 100 per kill (min 10), +25% while you have an aura active. Performing a song (below) gives +5.
- XP for the n-th point: 800 × n + 2 × (n − 1)².
- Talent costs: each talent has a base cost of 1, 2 or 3 points. Each tier after the first costs 1 point more than the one before.
- Most talents have 5 tiers. Those marked ³ have 3.
- Reset: 100 gold per point spent.
