Ethereal Collection

The Ethereal Collection is an ethereal statuette that can take the look of any style you've unlocked. Collect looks once, then switch your mount's appearance whenever you like (transmog for mounts).

Opening it

Single-click the Ethereal Collection in your backpack and choose Overview. The menu shows your Platinum Coins, how many styles you've unlocked, and every style with its price.

  • All / Unlocked / Locked filter the list.
  • Styles are listed from cheapest to most expensive.
  • Click a style to see it in the Style Details panel: its name, price, status and whether it can be dyed.

Unlocking styles

Every collection starts with the Horse look for free. There are two ways to unlock more:

  • Platinum Coins: select a locked style and press Unlock. The coins must be in your backpack.
  • Trade in a statuette: press Add Statuette and target an ethereal statuette in your backpack. The statuette is destroyed and its style is unlocked.
    • Ethereals with charges can't be traded in.
    • The statuette can't be ridden at the time, and its look must be one of the collection's styles.
    • If you already have that style, the statuette is refused, so nothing is lost.
    • Hues collected on the statuette are turned back into ethereal dyes and sent to your bank.

Unlocked styles belong to that character and stay unlocked for good.

Changing the look

Select an unlocked style and press Select Style. You must be dismounted. The collection keeps its look until you change it again.

Dyes

Ethereal dyes and the Retouching Tool (switches between the see-through ethereal look and the normal look) work on the collection like on any ethereal. A few styles can't be dyed: they're marked *Undyable in the menu and with a * below. While wearing one, the collection can't be dyed either.

Styles

The collection has 68 styles. Prices are in Platinum Coins. * = can't be dyed.
