Peerless Bosses¶
Peerless bosses are raid encounters with phases, fought in their own arena. You summon one by placing offerings on its boss altar.
Summoning¶
- Each altar has three offering slots. An empty slot shows a grey ghost of the item it needs.
- Drop the item on its slot (or double-click the slot and target the item in your backpack). The pentagram around the altar lights up one third per filled slot.
- When all three are filled, the offerings are consumed, the boss appears in its arena and a mystical portal opens next to the altar.
Who can enter: for the first 30 minutes, only the summoner, their party and their guild. After that, anyone.
Leaving: the arena has an exit portal (30-second cooldown per use).
After the kill: the entrance portal closes and the realm collapses 15 minutes later. Anyone still inside is sent back to the altar.
Deceit offerings¶
These drop in Deceit and go to the altar in Blackthorn's Castle:
| Offering | Dropped by |
|---|---|
| Bell of the Timeless | The Mindflayer (25%) |
| Skull of Paradigm | Belial (50%) |
| Vile Heartstone | Paradigm (75%) |
How every Peerless boss fights¶
- Enrage: every 15% HP lost (at 85, 70, 55, 40 and 25%), the boss gets +10% strength, dexterity, intelligence and damage, up to +50%.
- Guardians: at 80%, 60% and 40% HP it summons 3–5 guardians from its theme. While any guardian lives, the boss takes 25% less damage. Guardians vanish when the boss dies.
- It picks a new random target every 3–7 seconds.
Rewards¶
On top of the shared boss rewards (top 3 reward points and power scrolls, Void Skulls), every Peerless boss drops:
- 50,000 gold and 25 orb fragments
- a Silver or Gold PvM rune
- one Greater Doom set piece (Bloodstained, Cleric, Lunar, Magus, Nightmare, Phoenix, Ranger, Rogue, Toxic, Undine or Wraithcaller)
The Void Archon¶
Guardians: Eldritch (void gazers, xenomorphs, arcanic daemons, vortices…)
The Void Archon changes its attack pattern every 20% of its HP:
| HP | Phase | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 100–80% | Corrupted ground: void tiles spread across the arena (20 every 4 s). Standing on one deals 15–30 damage per second. | Keep moving to clean ground. The tiles vanish when the phase ends. |
| 80–60% | Void Wards: 4 wards appear, +1 per player nearby (max 10). While any ward stands, the Archon takes only about 15% of spell damage and ⅙ of melee damage, and reflects 25% of spells. Missing wards return every 35 s. | Destroy the wards (750 HP each). |
| 60–40% | Waves: every 15 s a wave sweeps across the arena from a random side. Each wave has 3 safe gaps, 3 tiles wide. | Stand in a gap. |
| 40–20% | Void Eyes: 4 stationary eyes fire rotating rays (12–22 damage per hit) every 12–18 s. Walls block the rays. | Kill the eyes or hide behind cover. |
| 20–0% | Lightning: every 7 s, 5–8 spots are marked. 2 s later each strikes and fires lines in 8 directions, 18 tiles long. | Move off the marks and their lines. |
All fight long:
- Armageddon: a 5-step countdown (15 s apart), then the void converges on the Archon. Everyone within 15 tiles takes up to 50 damage (pets up to 300). It repeats every 90–120 s.
- Meteor storm: meteors follow a random player.
- Void orbs: hitting the Archon in melee spawns orbs around it (up to 10). Once 3 or more exist, it hurls them at the closest player every 20–30 s. Each orb blasts a 2-tile area.
- Moon wave: its melee hits can send three 180° waves 7 tiles forward. Each hit deals 65% damage and freezes you for 2.5 s.
The Earthsunderer¶
Guardians: Beasts (minotaur lions, giant massacrers, claw vipers, ogre lords…)
| HP | Abilities |
|---|---|
| 100–75% | Echo bursts: a stomp that hits everyone within 8 tiles and knocks them back 8 tiles, and a shockwave cone 8 tiles in front. |
| 75–50% | Charge stance: charges up to 3 players within 18 tiles, one after another. Avalanche: rocks rain onto 2–6 players' spots within 20 tiles (more as its HP drops). Its melee hits start cleaving. |
| 50–0% | Turns molten. Meteor blast: meteors leave burning fire trails. Fireball barrage: 5 waves of fireballs aimed at where players stand, leaving short-lived firewalls. |
The Earthsunderer also always drops one random Champion Idol (any except Doom) for the Tome of the Harrower.
